Hockeytown Reigns In Wrigleyville

By all accounts, the 2009 NHL Winter Classic game held at historic Wrigley Field was a smashing success.

The Detroit Red Wings steamrolled the Chicago Blackhawks in front of their hometown fans who huddled inside Wrigley Field at a time of year when the old ballpark usually lies dormant.  It was anything but yesterday as the stands and neighborhood known as “Wrigleyville” were buzzing with hockey enthusiasts from around the world.
