1935 Detroit Tigers Vintage Wool Home Cap

$39.99

SKU: 30212106410

The same cap worn at Navin Field by Charlie Gehringer, Mickey Cochrane, Goose Goslin, Hank Greenberg, and Schoolboy Rowe during this magical season. This hat tends to run bigger than other fitted hats.  Molten wool.

This is a great hat…. It fits like an old baseball glove 😉 … Thank You for carrying such a nostalgic product. I recommend this hat for any serious baseball fan.

  6. Jeff V. (verified owner)

The quality of the cap is amazing, newer Pro style hats pale in comparison with the quality of this vintage baseball hat. Customer service was outstanding I needed the Hat on short notice so they mailed it out the same day. I will do business with this company again.

I'be been wearing the American needle short bill style for several years and am really happy Detroit Athletic Company stocks this hard to find cap. Very well made and nice materials. Also, agree with other reviews, Detroit Athletic Co. has excellent costumer service and super fast order fulfillment.

  8. Nick S. (verified owner)

My hats came well within the time allotted and in perfect condition. Hats off to Detroit Athletic! Pun intended. Friends who know, complement the cap for its authenticity.

This is the first real baseball cap I've seen in a long time. What memories. And it's beautifully crafted – and to top it all off, it's just like the boys wore on the best team ever.

It's a great reproduction of a vintage hat; a preferred style with much nostalgia of a bygone era.

  11. Leo W. (verified owner)

Bought hats here before, this version was a lot smaller than usual

  12. Mike G. (verified owner)

First class quality product with first in class service.

  13. Matt R. (verified owner)

    Excellent craftsmanship.
Will be purchasing a 2 more to ensure I have spares to last me until the end of my days.
As the description for the product states, one should order a size smaller. I ordered same size as I wear with new era caps and can slide a finger around head with hat on. Just a tad big but no worries.

  14. Jens A. (verified owner)

I order one size smaller the I normally use because it was stated. True size is close to two sizes smaller.

This is my favorite hat. It is my fourth one. This is the only hat I wear. The short brim, the low profile fit and the wool material really sets this hat apart from all the rest. I highly reccommend this hat!

I needed this cap to go with a display I was doing for a 1950's Dallas Eagles minor league uniform. This cap was perfect for the display. See photo. Also historic photo of Ty Cobb in a similar uniform from 1950.

Well constructed, unique Tigers hat. Softer than you would expect, and fits a little big. But all in all, a very nice hat. Can’t believe it took me this long to buy it!

  22. Richard S. (verified owner)

    Quick delivery— great cap!!:+1::+1:

This cap is well made with high quality materials. The design sets it apart from current ball caps. Yes, it is a bit pricey but well worth the cost. Sometimes old styles are better than new, this is an example of that.
