September 1, 1974 at Tiger Stadium: Reggie Sanders becomes the first Tiger to homer at The Corner in his first big-league at-bat, connecting off Oakland’s Jim “Catfish” Hunter.

September 3, 1976 at Tiger Stadium: Milwaukee catcher Mike Hegan hits for the cycle.

September 6, 1898 at Bennett Park: The Tigers’ doubleheader with Columbus draws 500 people, the lowest figure ever for a twin bill at The Corner.

September 6, 1905 at Bennett Park: Chicago’s Frank Smith no-hits the Tigers, 8-0.
