If I had to describe the 2008-09 Detroit Red Wings squad in one word it would be “dominating.”
The current Red Wings team has a dominating presence on the ice that seems capable of steamrolling any team they face. There is a team-wide confidence that permeates from the Red Wings that is rarely seen in professional sports.
It’s way too soon for post season predictions, but at this time it sure seems to me that the Red Wings are destined to repeat as the 2009 Stanley Cup Champions.
